The Spoils Run comes to an End

As some of you are aware myself and Mark actually met playing Spoils and a firm friendship was struck on that first trip to Colchester to take part in a Spoils tournament, which was cemented again on the same journey to the Nationals which were held at the same venue, unfortunately whilst remaining friends and even now colleagues on this blog it seems that the game that crossed our paths is going to be no more as this statement was released yesterday on the spoils website!

Learning to Play Algoryn

So my second project for Gates of Antares is underway, the Algoryn are the force I wanted to play from the start but I have only just got round to starting to get them sorted, they have been in the boot of my car for a month! To begin with I managed to trade and buy a fair amount, 4 packs of drones 3 AI Squads a box of AI Assault Squad a micro X launcher and a Skimmer squad so all in I should be able to do something reasonable straight off the bat.

Deadzone Tournament 5th Feb @ Ivory Goat Games, Ipswich, Suffolk. “Feed The Goat!”

At last, the details have been sorted, prizes found and we are going to run our first Deadzone tournament in my home town of Ipswich. The Rules pack is below but to highlight the details in brief it will be 150 points, three games, £6 for a ticket, spot prizes in each round and we will need help with scenery and boards as this is only a start up tournament.
