So, recently I’ve come to the conclusion that my Space Marine army is, after 25 years of on again / off again tinkering is “Complete”.
Hello again, sorry it’s been a while. I think I’m in a kind of post-Christmas-binge induced slothery. Anyway I haven’t been completely idle, I’ve painted two Blood Bowl teams (more on these when the bases are completed) and played a third game of 40K. This time with my long-time banter buddy Ant who’d just acquired a new traitor guard regiment and wanted to get back into the game. So how did it go?
Is this going to be the reason I start back at 40k again.

While the Imperium draws great advantage from the unbelievable weight of manpower it can bring to bear, the diversity of its military is its greatest strength. Many, many esoteric factions are expected to answer the call to protect humanity, from the arcane Adeptus Mechanicus, to the merciless, psychically-gifted Grey Knights and all in between. The forces of the Imperium are myriad and distinct, but all follow the Emperor’s divine will – through this common goal, they strive to ensure the continued if fraught survival of Mankind.
Hi all, last week I shared my method for making the torso’s and legs for Art-Scale Marines. In case you missed it you should certainly check it out here. Once you’ve finished with that come back here and learn how I do arms and see the almost finished Marines in the flesh.
Sorry that I’ve been absent for a few weeks. Real life has been absurdly busy and that’s left little time for projects unfortunately and even less to type about it! So what was going to be a short but challenging project to build some art-scale Grey Hunters has been dragged out for quite some time now.
When I was waiting for my order for Dropfleet commander one of the fun things was to look at what else I was going to need. I knew pretty early on I was going to need a new gaming mat. I have a few star maps but as Dropfleet is all about grabbing land masses I needed something new. I had a look around the Facebook group and to be honest the ideas were all the same, either big land masses or mats that looked like Mars. The selection didn’t really grab me at all.
Now if you recognise the names in the title your sure as heck going to love this announcement.
