Welcome to the first edition of Friday Kicks of 2017, firstly sorry its not a Friday so those of you who read the title and thought the weekend was nearly here your out off luck! Secondly I have decided to bring this back to try and keep up with whats going ton in the world of Kickstarters as I have grown a bit dispondant with them recently, mainly as there are so many great ones kicking around at the moment, so here goes.
So, sitting in a box for the last month or so I’ve had the spoils of the Mantic Games, Warpath Kickstarter and so on Saturday I decided to pull on of the Enforcer Interceptor’s out to see how well it went together.
Rise of Moloch is a Victorian, adventure board game for 2 to 5 players. One player will act as the Nemesis and take control of the secret society called The Cult that plans to install a government of the dead. The rest of the players cooperate as the Gentlemen of the Unicorn Club, dedicated to foiling the conspiracies that threaten the Crown.
It’s the late 1800’s and the Gold Rush is in full swing in the old west town of Blackwater Gulch. This has brought unprecedented wealth and prosperity to some, but poverty and crime to many others. It is a lawless place, day and night the streets are filled with gangs fighting over turf, gold or just because the town ain’t big enough for all of us.
Great news for backers of Tor Miniatures Cthu! Kickstarter for the quirky and charming Relics game; the first batches of tentacled-gribblies and other assorted models for the new Horror causing faction have started to arrive in homes up and down the country.
A gentle rapping at my door has just announced the arrival of the Postman… and what looks to be a chunk of my Walking Dead Kickstarter from Mantic Games!
